The Moto Attic rose from the ashes of a custom PHP platform that was fully concepted, designed, and implemented by Killdisco Design’s chief partners, Matthew Welsh and Nick Spiers. With the addition of PR guru Amy Meyer of Meyer PR and a savvy private board member, we’ve been out converting motorcyclists one state at a time to utilizing a better way to buy, sell, and share their goods.
The idea was simple. Take all the things we hate about the handful of resell platforms offered up to Motorcyclists and provide the opposite. Fully responsive UI behaviors, paypal integration, internal messaging applications, no fee listings, no fee transactions…. wait what?! YUP! NO FEES!
In 2014, we became the first e-commerce based platform to ever integrate direct selling through the Instagram API, allowing our members to link their Instagram accounts, post directly to the app and instantaneously create a listing on our website with payment options. All with the single post of someone else’s engine. Yup… We did that.
